Meaties by artist Walter Robinson is an installation piece which imagines animals engineered to supply lunch meat. The reductive animal fetish forms have been stripped of their identity as living creatures and turned into an easily consumed commodity. The work is a forced confrontation with our societies blind mass consumption of processed and packaged goods and our willing self removal from the source of our food supply.
