Charles Arnoldi is a contemporary American abstract painter, sculptor, and printmaker who employs a bold, colorful, graphic style in his hard-edged geometric compositions and fluid linework. He typically uses wood, sticks, and twigs as compositional elements in his paintings and for constructing wall reliefs and other sculptures.
Arnoldi has had numerous exhibitions throughout his career, at venues such as the Riko Mizuno Gallery in Los Angeles, the James Corcoran Gallery in Los Angeles, the Arts Club of Chicago, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. His work is also part of the permanent collections of The Museum of Modern Art and The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and the Guggenheim in Bilbao.
